Psalms 40: 1-3(NLT)
I waited patiently for the Lord to help me,
and he turned to me and heard my cry.
2He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
and steadied me as I walked along.
3He has given me a new song to sing,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what he has done and be amazed.
They will put their trust in the Lord.

In my last blog, I talked about happiness and how I am able to stay happy in life with everything that is going on. You must be thinking well that is impossible no one can be happy all the time. Well you are right there are times where I get sad, and depressed why because I am simply human and sometimes I feel that the weight of the world is on my shoulders and to deny those emotions would mean to deny the fact that I am a human being. Well, what do I do when I am unhappy? I first try to figure out the reason, why I am feeling like I am then I ask myself is the reason I am unhappy something I can change or is it merely out of my control? I then talk to God I pray about the situation and I ask God to deliver my mind. I spoke about this before but it really helps to have a good support system so I talk to my family a lot about when I am feeling down(Not all the time, but a lot of the times). You don’t have to be afraid to talk to anyone when you are feeling sad or depressed because you think people will perceive you as a crazy person, or someone who is complaining because, in reality, it is better to let it out than hold that stuff in. We have to take a stand against mental health we have to show that it is ok to talk about it. We have to break the cycle. I am all about positivity but as stated in the beginning I am human and sometimes it’s ok not to be ok, but it’s never ok to not talk about it and hold it in.  May God Bless you and may your hearts be healed.  Any questions or feedback please email me @
